Non-Rechargeable battery

Non-Rechargeable battery is an electric battery that produces current by an irreversible chemical reaction and that’s why is not rechargeable. Non-rechargeable batteries are designed to be used only once. They are disposable. Once the reactants inside are used up in chemical reactions, the output gradually falls. Once all the reactants have been used up, these batteries are no longer able to supply electrical energy. Non-rechargeable variants steadily lose their voltage whereas the Rechargeable batteries have to maintain their voltage for a longer time.
A battery is an electrochemical cell that converts chemical energy into electrical energy by means of negative and positive electrodes.
The output gradually falls, once the reactants inside are used up in chemical reactions. Once all the reactants have been used up, these batteries are no longer able to supply electrical energy.

Types of non-rechargeable batteries

Zinc carbon batteries

These are the batteries that are used in toys, wall clocks, remotes, etc and these are one of the old types of batteries. These are the cheapest batteries. These required a very low amount of current. An example of zinc is your TV remote. After use of these cells should dispose of carefully.

Alkaline batteries and Lithium batteries

These two types of batteries have common properties. These batteries are the longest-lasting cells. lithium can last 20 years while Alkaline batteries can last 10-12 years. Alkaline batteries are in more bulky size than lithium batteries.
