Through its supplier partnerships with Diotec and Pololu
March 01, 2022, Łódź, Poland – Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) continues to expand the variety of applications it is able to address by adding to the range of products available through its distribution network.
Now accessible to customers, Diotec’s DI62061/2/3 series of high precision low-dropout (LDOs) voltage regulators are capable of supporting an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to + 85°C. Covering voltages from 1.8V to 3V, these LDOs deliver a constant and accurate output voltage within a ±1% margin. They can be used in DC-DC converters, battery management systems and back-up power supply units (PSUs). The CMOS technology employed in their design ensures that minimal power losses are witnessed. A current limiting mechanism is incorporated into each device, enabling a high degree of protection against damage during overload situations. Supplied in a tape-and-reel format to facilitate automated assembly, these extended temperature LDOs are housed in compact SOT23 packages. In addition, TME has expanded the range of sensor devices with the introduction of the latest inertial measurement unit (IMU) from robotics component specialist Pololu. Targeted at drones and automated guided vehicles (AGVs), the AltIMU-10 (POLOLU-2739) module provides engineers with a platform on which engineers can build their systems and experiment with different design concepts. With dimensions of just 12.7mm x 25.4mm, it has numerous high-performance MEMS-based sensing elements incorporated into it. This module features an LSM6DS33 combined 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer, a LIS3MDL 3-axis magnetometer, plus a digital barometer (which can also serve as an altimeter). The core sensor operation is complemented by dynamic sensitivity level selection for the accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer elements. There is also scale preselection for the barometer. All of the sensor functions can be accessed via the module’s I2C interface. https://www.tme.eu/gb/details/pololu-2739/position-sensors/pololu/altimu-10-v5/
According to Adam Kuczyńsk, co-founder and Business Development Director at TME; “The strong relationships that TME has built with many of the world’s key producers of electronic components means that we can help our customers to design equipment which pushes the performance envelope and delivers real differentiation. TME will continue with regular new product introduction activity throughout 2022.”
